Skolfredsutlysning i Godby med rekordmånga elever

Skolfredsutlysningen genomfördes den 12.9.2013 för sjunde gången på Åland, och nu för andra året i rad i Godbyhallen. Arrangör för skolfredsutlysningen är Folkhälsan på Åland, Rädda Barnen, Utbildningsbyrån vid Ålands landskapsregering, Polisen och Ålands fredsinstitut.
Norra Ålands högstadiedistrikt tillsammans med Ålands musikinstitut svarade för det innehållsrika programmet inför en rekordstor publik på drygt 550 skolelever och lärare, främst från årskurserna 5-6 och årskurs 9.
Årets tema var "Schysst på nätet" som också genomsyrade flera av programinslagen. Skolfredsdeklarationen framfördes i år av elever från Sunds och Vårdö skolor. Utbildningsminister Johan Ehn uppehöll sig i sitt tal mycket kring respekt i och kring skolan och bemötandet människor emellan. Rangsby skolas elever genomförde en värderingsövning som även aktiverade publiken.

School Peace 2012 proclaimed on Åland

Skolfred_2012_2Every year '‘Peace in Schools’ is proclaimed on Åland. In 2012 this was done on the 13th of September in the Sports Center in Godby. About 600 pupils from 4th, 5th and 9th grades in Åland's schools participated.

The programme, among others, included speeches, live music and dancing. The event was live streamed on internet and can be watched at bambuser.com. 

With Folkhälsan as the core organizer, the Åland Islands Peace Institute, Save the Children, and the Department for Education at the local government are cooperating in order to promote ‘Peace in Schools’. ‘Peace in Schools’ is intended to highlight how important it is that everyone involved in school life work together for a humane educational environment.

Skolfred_2011_72With Folkhälsan as the core organizer, the Åland Islands Peace Institute, Save the Children, and the Department for Education at the local government are cooperating in order to promote ‘Peace in Schools’. ‘Peace in Schools’ is intended to highlight how important it is that everyone involved in school life work together for a humane educational environment.

Every year '‘Peace in Schools’ is proclaimed on Åland. In 2011 this was done on the 8th of September on the main square in Mariehamn. Pupils from 4th and 9th grades in Åland's schools participated. Throughout the school year activities related to the theme of School Peace 2011-2012 - respect - will be emphasized.

School peace 2010

On the 2nd of September at 1pm, school peace for the school year 2010-2011 will be declared in the town square in Mariehamn, for all 4th and 9th grade students.

The programme includes song, music and dance performances by students from the schools of Eckerö and Näfsby, and from Ålands Musikinstitut, a speech by vice head of the Åland government Britt Lundberg, each school's posting of a greeting of peace to a friend school or similar, and finally a declaration of school peace.

The school peace project is a cooperation between the Åland government, the Åland Islands Peace Institute, Folkhälsan on Åland, and Save the Children Åland.

GislasonThe 8th and 9th Octobre the Åland Islands Peace Institute in cooperation with Folkhälsan and Save the Children two courses in Step by step. Teacher was leg. psychologist Björn Gislason from Sweden. 50 teachers attended the course on step by step for children 4-11 years, 10 in the course aiming at children 12-15.
Step by step is included in the project Peace Education.
